Shirley J. Scordato

Shirley J. Scordato of Riverhead died Dec. 11 at Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead. She was 88. 

The daughter of Angelina (Puniccio) and John Dellosso, she was born March 28, 1927.

Ms. Scordato was a high school graduate and a homemaker. She was a member of the Red Hat Society at Saddle Lakes in Riverhead.

Predeceased by her husband, Angelo, in 2010, she is survived by her sons Steven, John and Salvatore; four grandchildren and one sister.

The family received visitors Dec. 13 at Tuthill-Mangano Funeral Home in Riverhead. A funeral mass took place Dec. 14 at Saint John the Evangelist R.C. Church in Riverhead, officiated by the Rev. Larry Duncklee. Burial took place at Calverton National Cemetery.
