About 455 PSEG customers throughout Riverhead Town are without power Monday night — mostly in Northville and Jamesport — as a rain storm and dense fog continues to move through the area, according to the National Weather Service and power authorities.
A PSEG outage map shows 440 of those outages are in Northville and 15 outages in Jamesport, with power expected to be restored by 10 p.m.
About 15 customers in Southold Town have also lost power as of 9:15 p.m., according to PSEG.
The National Weather Service is reporting “hazardous” weather conditions with heavy rain, thunderstorms and dense fog through the evening.
The weather is expected to clear up Tuesday with sunny skies and a high temperature of 61 degrees.
