Editor’s picks: My favorite staff photos of 2015

Some of the best event photography we published this year came from the two-day FOLD festival at Martha Clara Vineyards, which Katharine Schroeder shot on consecutive nights in August. As someone who grew up in the area and couldn’t understand why I had to drive to Jones Beach or Madison Square Garden for a live concert — I still have trouble putting into perspective how surreal it is that Nile Rodgers now puts on a regular music festival in Riverhead. Perhaps a bit more sparsely attended than one would have thought this year, I do hope the event continues for years to come with more great acts coming to us to perform.
