State Police: Flanders man involved in accident charged with DWI

New York State Police arrested a 34-year-old man for driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, in Flanders last Monday. Jorge A. Cabrera of Flanders was allegedly involved in a property damage incident at the intersection of Flanders Road and County Road 105. An investigation showed that Mr. Cabrera was intoxicated at the time and at fault for the property damage, police said.

• A Seaford woman — Andrea Wagner, 30 — was arrested for driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, last Tuesday after she failed to maintain her lane on the Long Island Expressway around exit 72, officials said.

• John F. Dickinson, 51, of Bay Shore, was arrested Thursday after he reportedly ran a red light on East Main Street at Roanoke Avenue in Riverhead. He was charged with driving while intoxicated, police said.

• A Southampton man was arrested Sunday on drug charges in Flanders.

Jason Scaramucci, 47, was reportedly stopped for having non-transparent windows at the traffic circle on Flanders Road. He was then found to have drugs on him, and was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation, police said.
