SouthamptonPD HQ4 - 500

A Riverside driver was charged with a felony Sunday after she was caught trying to pour PCP out of its container after being stopped for a traffic infraction, Southampton Town police said.

Shavon Goode, 33, was pulled over just before midnight on Brown Street in Riverside and Southampton police found she was in possession of PCP, according to a police report. Police said Ms. Goode attempted to destroy the evidence by dumping it out, but cops were able to recover enough to charge her.

She was arrested and charged with tampering with physical evidence, a felony , and misdemeanor criminal possession of a controlled substance, police said. Ms. Goode was taken to police headquarters and held for a Monday morning arraignment.
