Residents on the East End looking for better access to Congressman Lee Zeldin will get their chance beginning in February.

Mr. Zeldin, who was elected to the 1st District seat in November 2014, will open the satellite office at 30 West Main Street, Suite 201, in downtown Riverhead, his office announced Monday. The office will be open Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. or by appointment starting Feb. 1. The phone number is 631-209-4235.

Mr. Zeldin (R-Shirley) currently has offices in Patchogue and Washington D.C.

“An East End office will bring the wide range of constituent services that my office provides a little closer to home for eastern Long Island residents,” Mr. Zeldin said in a statement. “If you are struggling with a federal issue or agency, or have any questions or concerns, I encourage you to contact and take full advantage of my East End office.”

Thirty West Main is a shared workspace complex opened by Manhattan-based commercial real estate broker Georgia Malone.

Earlier this month, the Suffolk County Legislature also announced a plan to hold two meetings in Riverhead in an effort to bring government closer to East End residents.

Mr. Zeldin’s office “works with all levels of government, on issues including law enforcement, quality of life, environmental and infrastructure,” according to a statement.
