Riverhead blotter: Woman reports theft from bank account

A woman told police Friday that someone illegally removed $1,022 from her account at the Chase bank on West Main Street.

• Three cases of power tools were reported stolen from a car parked at Costco on Route 58 Friday night. The estimated value of the missing tools is about $1,000, police said.

• Twenty inspection stickers were reported stolen from the service area of Riverhead Nissan on Route 58 Friday afternoon. Police said the state Department of Motor Vehicles has been notified.

• An iPhone valued at $600 was reported stolen at Riverhead High School last Thursday, police said.

• Assorted gas power tools were reported stolen from a locked trailer on Timber Drive in Calverton last Wednesday, police said.

• An unknown man stole a set of headphones valued at around $150 from Best Buy on Route 58 Friday afternoon and fled in a green Honda, police said.
