Funeral arrangements set for Lance Cpl. Malik Baxter, 20

Funeral arrangements have been announced for Lance Cpl. Malik Baxter, the 2013 Riverhead High School graduate and U.S. Marine who was killed in a motorcycle accident in Honolulu, Hawaii, where he was stationed.

Visiting hours for Lance Cpl. Baxter are scheduled for Sunday, March 13, from 2 to 4:30 p.m. and again from 7 to 9:30 p.m. at the Mangano Funeral Home on 640 Middle Country Road in Middle Island.

A funeral will be held at noon at Jefferson Temple Church of God in Christ on 333 Brookhaven Ave. in Bellport. Interment will follow at Calverton National Cemetery.

Lance Cpl. Baxter died on Tuesday, March 8, at the age of 20.
