Robert B. Hamilton

Robert B. Hamilton, formerly of Wading River and Southold, and recently of Pottersville, N.Y., died April 2, 2016, at the age of 69. 

He was born in New York City and was the son of Alexander and Katharine Lux Hamilton.

Mr. Hamilton served our country with the U.S. Army and was a retired Suffolk County police officer.

He is survived by his loving brother, William (Gail) Hamilton, and was the treasured uncle of Jeffrey Hamilton (Carolyn) and Michelle LoRusso (Joseph) and cherished great-uncle of Katharine and Jonathon LoRusso and Victoria Hamilton.

Memorial visitation will be held Wednesday, April 13, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Alexander-Tuthill Funeral Home in Wading River.

Memorial donations may be made to the Wading River Fire Department.
