Riverhead Blotter: Teenagers stole items from 7-Eleven

Three teenagers between the ages of 16 and 18 removed beer, milk and other items from the 7-Eleven near the Department of Motor Vehicles on Route 58 in Riverhead last Tuesday morning before fleeing the area, police said. Additional information was unavailable. 

• Shana Pippin, 30, of Calverton was charged with petit larceny Friday night at Stop & Shop on Route 58 in Riverhead. Additional information was unavailable.

• Donna Caporaso, 55, of Riverhead, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance last Tuesday night on Doris Avenue in Riverhead, police said. She was found in possession of a glass stem with a small crack rock, police said.

• Two men and three women removed about $500 in merchandise from the Nike store at Tanger Outlets last Wednesday afternoon around 2:50 p.m. before leaving the area, police said.

Two men and three women also reportedly stole about $300 in merchandise from the OshKosh B’gosh store at Tanger Outlets around 1:30 p.m. last Wednesday.

Those who are named in police reports have not been convicted of any crime or violation. The charges against them may later be reduced or withdrawn, or they may be found innocent.
