Town to discuss wrapping up five-year EPCAL study

The Riverhead Town Board is expected to discuss the final stages of the Enterprise Park at Calverton environmental impact study and subdivision map at its work session on Thursday.

The town hired consulting firm Vanasse, Hangen Brustlin Inc. (VHB) in February 2011 to do several key EPCAL studies, including the subdivision map, for close to $500,000, although the process has taken much longer than expected. The subdivision is needed so the town can legally sell off individual parcels from EPCAL.

Also on the agenda Thursday is a discussion on repairs to the town’s skateboard park at Stotzky Park, which also has taken longer than expected.

The work session starts at 10 a.m. and News-Review reporter Tim Gannon will be live blogging. Click below to follow or comment and scroll down for the full agenda.
