Cops: Cell phones stolen during early morning burglary

A burglary was reported early Saturday morning at Platinum Prepaid Wireless on Griffing Avenue, Riverhead Town police said. 

Police responded shortly before 6 a.m. to the downtown Riverhead business to find someone had broken the front door and stolen cell phones, police said. Riverhead detectives were notified and are investigating.
