Thomas E. Kesler Jr.

Thomas E. Kesler Jr. of Flanders died Nov. 15 at a family residence. He was 59. 

The son of Thomas and Nancy (Corwin) Kesler, he was born July 6, 1957, in Riverhead. He graduated from Riverhead High School in 1975 and attended college in West Virginia.

Mr. Kesler worked as a truck driver. Family members said he enjoyed sports and racing and loved spending time with his grandson.

Predeceased by his parents and his sister, Brenda Allgaier, Mr. Kesler is survived by his daughter, Kristen Emerson of Flanders; his former spouse, Nancy Kesler of Riverhead; his siblings Nancy Coleman of Coram and Freddie, of Florida; and one grandson.

The family received visitors Nov. 18 at McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home in Riverhead, where a funeral service took place Nov. 19. Cremation was private.
