Josephine Brill

Josephine Brill of Riverhead died March 26 at Acadia Center in Riverhead. She was 95. 

The daughter of Michael and Josephine Stankowits, she born Jan. 15, 1922, in New York City.

Family member said Ms. Brill was a homemaker who enjoyed painting.

Predeceased by her husband, Frank, in 2009 and her son, Robert, in 2007, she is survived by her daughter, Janice Kozlovsky; her sister, Vilma Herzog of Riverhead and two grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors Tuesday, March 28, from 7 to 9 p.m. at McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home in Riverhead. Cremation will be private.
