Riverhead card store sells $27K Take 5 ticket

A New York Lottery Take 5 ticket worth more than $27,000 was recently purchased in Riverhead.

The winning ticket was purchased at Bapa (Hallmark) Card & Gift on Route 58. The winning numbers for the July 30 Take 5 drawing were: 02-14-18-37-38, the Lottery announced Monday.

The winning ticket’s precise value is $27,587.50 (before taxes, of course).

The winning numbers for Take 5 are drawn from a field of one to 39. The drawings are televised every evening at 11:21 p.m. The winning tickets at all prize levels may be cashed up to one year from the date of the drawing.

Another top-prize ticket for the same drawing was sold in Malone, the Lottery said.
