Robert E. Meier

Robert E. Meier of Wading River died July 28, 2017, in his 84th year.

He was the beloved husband of Daisy; the loving father of Deborah Meert (Bruce), Robert (Anette), Richard (MaryEllen), Linda Krajewski (Andy), and Fred (Margaret); dear brother of Edward; treasured grandfather of John Meert, Jason Meert, Jim Meert, Kimmy Iuliano, Robert Meier, Tiffany Meier, Samantha Meier, Sarah Meier, Brandon Krajewski, Kyle Krajewski, Amanda Meier, Ashley Meier, Crystal Meier and Heather Huffman and great-grandfather to Andrew, Daniel, Elizabeth, Ryland and Mae.

The family received visitors July 31 at Alexander-Rothwell Funeral Home in Wading River. A funeral Mass was held Aug. 1 at St. John the Baptist in Wading River. Burial followed at Calverton National Cemetery.
