James T. Igoe

James T. Igoe, 84, of Calverton passed away on Monday, Aug. 7, 2017.

He was born in New York City on April 14, 1933, to Mary and James Igoe and was the father of Patricia (Robert), James (Erin), John (Nida) and Jennifer (Ward); brother of Mary (deceased) and Joan; grandfather of Meighan, Kyle, Tyler, Claire, Molly, Isabella; and great-grandfather to Beau.

He was a proud U.S. Navy veteran. His career as an insurance agent spanned many years. James was an avid New York Giants football fan and stamp and coin collector.

Visitation and services took place Aug. 14 at Alexander-Rothwell Funeral Home in Wading River. Burial followed at Calverton National Cemetery.
