Cops: Man punched, robbed on Sandy Hollow Court late Sunday

Riverhead Town police are investigating a robbery late Sunday night on Sandy Hollow Court in Riverhead after a man was attacked by two people, according to a police press release.

The victim, a Spanish man, was approached by two men who appeared to be in their 20s and was punched in the face and knocked to the ground. The suspects stole a cell phone and money from the victim’s pockets, police said.The suspects, who were only described further as a white man and black man, fled in a southbound direction on Raynor Avenue.
