Cops: Man sought for questioning in connection to assault

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Riverhead Town police are seeking the public’s help to locate a “person of interest” in connection to an assault that occurred at Tanger Outlets Aug. 3.

The incident occurred at approximately 2 p.m., according to police.

The man pictured above is wanted for questioning in connection with the assault, police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest. Anyone with information can call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
