Margaret M. Bloem

Margaret M. Bloem, 86, of Calverton, died Feb. 8 at her home. 

The daughter of George Bloem and Margaret (Lugosy), she was born Feb. 16, 1931, in Queens.

Ms. Bloem attended college and worked as a secretary for the  Mattituck-Cutchogue School District.

She is survived by her brother, George; sister-in-law, Rosemary; nephew, Gerrit, niece, Kristina and was a great-aunt to Ryder and Olivia.

A memorial service will take place Thursday, Feb. 15, at 2 p.m. at Tuthill-Mangano Funeral Home in Riverhead.
