Joseph V. Pozzolano

Joseph V. Pozzolano of East Quogue passed away May 18, 2018, at the age of 75 years.

Born on Oct. 21, 1942, he grew up in the Red Hook section of Brooklyn where his love of everything Brooklyn started, including the Brooklyn Dodgers.

He resided in East Quogue, N.Y. for 40+ years and is survived by  his beloved wife of 55 years, Louise; son Joseph (Donna) and daughter Gina (Adam); granddaughters Sarah and Erin; younger brother, Vincent (Annie), as well as many nieces and nephews. 

He worked for 50 years at LIPA, a job he loved. Joseph enjoyed playing golf on weekends and watching his other two favorite teams: the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame and the New York Football Giants. 

A funeral mass is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 24, at the Church of St. Rosalie in Hampton Bays. A burial in St. Isidore R.C. Church Cemetery in Riverhead will follow the Mass.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the R. J. O’Shea Funeral Home, Inc. in Hampton Bays.
