Marjorie E. Lamb

Marjorie E. Lamb of Riverhead died June 13 at Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead, She was 77.

The daughter of Aletheia (Bembry) and Richard Skinner, she was born on Sept. 13, 1940, in Elizabeth City, N.C.

Ms. Lamb worked as a caretaker at Comfort Keepers in Riverhead.

Family members said she enjoyed ballroom dancing, gardening and cooking.

Predeceased by her husband, Henry, and her sons, Henry III and Vernon, Ms. Lamb is survived by her life partner, John Virgilio; her children, Felecia Wilson and Rodney, Warren, Vincent and Phyllis Lamb; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and family members.

The family will receive visitors  Wednesday, June 20, from 7 to 9 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Riverhead. Closing prayers will be Thursday, June 21, at 10 a.m., followed by an 11 a.m. service at First Baptist Church. Burial will take place at Calverton National Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to the Riverhead Animal Shelter.

Arrangements were in the care of Tuthill-Mangano Funeral Home in Riverhead.
