Marilyn E. Parker

Marilyn E. Parker of Riverhead died Sept. 24 at The Hamptons Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Southampton. She was 55 years old.

Born in Riverhead Feb. 26, 1963, to Clarence Harris and Susan White, she graduated from Riverhead High School in 1981. A homemaker, family members said she loved cooking, collecting frogs, and her grandchildren. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Riverhead.

She is survived by her fiancé, David Clinton; her children, Michelle Moore of Virginia, Michael Jr. and Ny’Asia Parker, both of Riverhead; four sisters: Jacqueline White of Maryland, Latisha Harris and Debra Trent of Riverhead, and Cheryl Harris of Delaware; and 5 grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, Sept 30, at 3 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Riverhead.

Arrangements were in the care of McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home in Riverhead.
