Elsie E. Harrison

Lifelong Aquebogue resident Elsie E. Harrison died June 26 at Westhampton Care Center. She was 93.

She was born July 10, 1918, in Aquebogue to Emil and Helena (Stakey) Breitenbach.

Ms. Harrison was a homemaker and also worked as a waitress at Villa Paul Restaurant in Hampton Bays.

Family members said she enjoyed crafts, painting and crocheting and especially loved to restore wicker furniture.

Predeceased by her husband, Arthur P. Harrison, she is survived by her sons, Paul, of Aquebogue, and Robert, of Riverhead; her daughter, Betty Sabo of North Carolina; her brother, Emil Breitenbach of Riverhead; 11 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.

Visiting hours and a service, conducted by Pastor Byer, took place June 29 at Reginald H. Tuthill Funeral Home in Riverhead. Interment followed at Riverhead Cemetery.
