Rosemary Granger

Former Riverhead resident Rosemary Granger of Sarasota, Fla., died there Aug. 2 at the age of 60.

She was born Dec. 10, 1951, to Frances and LeRoy Hoffmann. She graduated from Valley Stream Central High School and studied horticulture at SUNY/Farmingdale.

Ms. Granger was a homemaker and real estate salesperson at The Real Estate Store. Family members said she loved flowers and enjoyed gardening, dinner parties and football.
She is survived by her son, Matthew, and her daughter, Tara, both of Riverhead; her domestic partner, Bob Stevens of Sarasota, Fla.; and her brothers, Michael Hoffmann and Roy Hoffmann.

Visiting hours took place Aug. 5 at McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home in Riverhead. Cremation was private.
