Walter K. Horn

Walter K. Horn of Riverhead died Sept. 10 at the age of 65.

He was born Nov. 17, 1947, in Huntington to Edward and Bertha (Schinka) Horn. He worked as a bus driver for DBA Transportation Inc. in Bohemia and was a member of the Flanders-Northampton Volunteer Ambulance Company.

Mr. Horn is survived by his wife, Patricia (née Giliberto); his sons, Terence, of Farmingdale, William Mason of Coram, Nicholas Alaia of Greenport and Anthony Alaia of Stony Brook; his daughters, Meghan, of Mattituck, and Sandee Lark and Lisa Johnson, both of Colorado; his brothers, William, of Delaware and Charlie; his sisters, Betty Marcus of Port Jefferson and Mary, of Northport; and 11 grandchildren.

Visiting hours will take place Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 15 and 16, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Reginald H. Tuthill Funeral Home in Riverhead. A service will be held Monday, Sept. 17, at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home, Deacon Chris Erving officiating. Interment will be at Pinelawn Memorial Park in Farmingdale.
