A reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest after a small group of people were allegedly spotted sealing an iPhone from the McDonald’s in Riverside last month.

According to Suffolk County Police, a woman left her iPhone 6 on the counter at the Flanders Road fast food restaurant sometime between 9:30 and 10:30 p.m. on March 6. Police said a man wearing a light-colored hood took the phone and slipped it to a friend who was standing behind him wearing a Nike cap.

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $5,000 for info that leads to an arrest in the petty larceny incident. Anyone with information about the arrest can call 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.

A reward has been offered for information that leads to the arrest of a woman who robbed a Riverhead bank last week.

Last Thursday shortly after 10:30 a.m., a woman handed a teller a note at the Suffolk County National Bank branch on Second Street demanding money. She was allegedly given money and then fled the scene on foot.

Bank2According to police, the woman is described between 5-foot-2 and 5-foot-5 inches tall with a medium build and Hispanic or light-skinned black in skin color. Police said she was wearing a black jacket with a gray hooded sweatshirt underneath, with blue jeans, a black hat and sunglasses.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to contact the Riverhead Police Department at 727-4500, ext. 610 or Suffolk County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.

A reward of up to $5,000 has been offered for information that leads to the arrest of a man who allegedly stole $200 from the register of downtown Riverhead’s Dark Horse restaurant in September.

According to police, the man — who said he was wearing large headphones around his neck, with black and possibly red coloring with metal on the frame of the headphones — entered the restaurant sometime between 7:30 a.m. and 8:15 a.m. on Sept. 26, 2014. He removed $200 from the register, police said.

Police described the man as black and said he was wearing blue jeans with white embroidery on the rear pockets, a brown hooded jacket, and a white shirt at the time of the incident.

A reward of up to $5,000 has been offered by Suffolk County Crime Stoppers that information that leads to the suspect’s arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
