Riverhead Town and Suffolk County Police are asking for the public’s help to identify a woman they say attempted to purchase items using counterfeit money at a Route 58 business back in November, authorities said.

Police have released surveillance images of the suspect dressed in a black jacket and pants, who is seen holding two items on Nov. 22., about 7:45 p.m. at Riverhead Beauty Supply.

Police said the woman attempted to use a counterfeit $100 bill to purchase the items, and fled the store soon after.

Police are asking anyone with information on the suspect to call (800) 220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.

Crime Stoppers is offering reward of up to $5,000 for any information leading to an arrest.

Police said three men stole nearly $1,900 in tooth whitening products from Target early last month and are asking the public’s help in identifying and tracking the suspects down.

According to Suffolk County Police, the men entered the Route 58 box store on Thursday, Nov. 7 and reportedly stole “all the Crest Whitening products on display” between 1 and 1:25 p.m. Authorities estimated the value of the products at $1,869.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers are offering a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.

Police are seeking information after they say a woman and two other men collaborated to steal a Kenneth Cole employee’s pocketbook earlier this month and later use it at a Medford gas station.

According to police, the woman and one of the men distracted employees at the store on Oct. 7, about 5 p.m., while the third suspect snuck into the employee-only room and stole a pocketbook with an iPhone, debit card and personal papers.

The trio left and the female later used the card to purchase $75 in merchandise in Medford, according to police.

Police are asking for the public’s help after they say two men stole five rolls of electrical wire from Lowe’s last month.

According to police, the men walked into the Route 58 store on Sept. 28 about 10 a.m. and took the packaging off the rolls before leaving the store without paying for them.

Police described one man as white and in his mid-40s, with dark hair that is balding. He was reportedly wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans and tan work boots. The second man, police said, was black and in his mid- to late-30s, wearing a black cap, a black shirt and blue jeans.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be confidential, and information that leads to an arrest offers a cash reward of up to $5,000.

Thief_RHPolice are offering a cash reward for information leading to the arrest of a man who used someone else’s debit card at a string of Riverhead stores in April.

Two surveillance images were released by police, both showing the alleged identity theft as a thinly built, light-skinned black or Hispanic man who at the time was wearing a white T-shirt, sunglasses, blue jeans and shoes.

The man made “several purchases” at Target, Walgreen’s and KMart, all on Route 58, on April 24.

Anyone with information is being asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 220-TIPS. Police are offering up to $5,000 in cash for any information that leads to an arrest.
