The fifth annual Long Island Fleece and Fiber Fair will take place Saturday and Sunday, May 17 and 18, at Hallockville Museum Farm. The event, co-sponsored by Long Island Livestock Company, will feature demonstrations of fiber arts and related processes, other folk arts and a “fiber market” in the Naugles Barn. Special activities will include sheep herding, a llama obstacle course and shearing demonstrations. (more…)
