Riverhead Town police arrested a 26-year-old man for misdemeanor driving while intoxicated in Riverhead Sunday.
Marcus Belcher of Riverhead was stopped on Doctors Path around 2:24 a.m. for making an improper left turn and failing to signal, officials said. Police then determined he was intoxicated and arrested him. He was taken to headquarters and held for arraignment, officials said. READ

Riverhead Town police arrested two people for theft after allegedly not paying a dinner bill at Jerry and the Mermaid restaurant Friday.
Holly White, 31, of Riverhead and Michael Leto, 27, of Hauppauge reportedly ran out of the restaurant around 5:50 p.m. leaving a $233 bill unpaid.
Both were charged with misdemeanor theft of services and Mr. Leto was additionally charged with misdemeanor false personation. READ

Joseph Densieski, 52, was involved in an argument around 10 p.m. on Reeves Avenue, during which he displayed a shotgun, officials said. READ
