Oil burner sparks blaze at greenhouse

An oil burner caught fire in an Aquebogue greenhouse Friday evening.
Firefighters from the Riverhead Fire Department responded to the 5 p.m. blaze off West Lane in Aquebogue, and quickly had the fire under control, authorities said.
The greenhouse is owned by Manni Hamecand, who uses it to grow vegetables for the family’s garden.
