John F. Krempa

John F. Krempa of Riverhead died April 12 at Brookhaven Memorial Hospital. He was 46.

He was born Nov. 14, 1963, in Brooklyn to John and Angelina (Allie) Krempa and was raised in Flanders.

Mr. Krempa worked as a cook at the Riverhead Grill and Cliff’s Rendezvous in Riverhead.

According to his family, he was an avid sports fan, particularly of hockey and football, and also enjoyed music.

Predeceased by his sister, Kimberly, he is survived by his son, Squire, of Riverhead; his father, of Riverhead, and mother, of Florida; and his siblings Diane, of East Patchogue, and Christopher, of Hampton Bays.

Family received visitors April 17 at McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home in Riverhead. Graveside services were held at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Cemetery in Riverhead.
