Salutations du Quebec!
Members of the Riverhead Middle School French Club posed against the backdrop of the historic Chateau Frontenac hotel during the club’s 10th annual spring break trip to Quebec City, Canada. Accompanied by teacher Betsy Fabricatore, 42 students spent four days and three nights immersed in the city’s language, culture and food.

The One Town, One Family Food Drive has completed a very successful tour at Riverhead Town Hall, where over 15 bags were filled with nonperishable items that helped Long Island Council of Churches meet their holiday needs. A big thanks to all the employees at Town Hall for making the tour so bountiful. The next stop will be at Goodwill AME Zion Church in Flanders. Dropoff times are: Wednesdays, 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.; Thursdays, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.; and Sundays, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thelma Booker and Liz Stokes are the coordinators for this project and have done a remarkable job all year long. Our community should be proud of all those who have donated and made a difference.
