Arthur Hansen

Arthur “Mel” Hansen of Port Charlotte, Fla., died Sunday, Feb. 14, 2010. He was 82 and a former resident of Mattituck.

The family will receive friends next Friday, June 4, from 4 to 7 p.m. at DeFriest-Grattan Funeral Home in Mattituck. Mattituck Fire Department services will be held at 6:15 p.m. and religious services at 6:30 p.m. by Caren Heacock of Mattituck Presbyterian Church.

Graveside services and interment will take place Saturday, June 5, at 11:30 a.m. at New Bethany Cemetery in Mattituck.

Memorial donations may be sent to Children’s Scholarship Fund of Deep Creek. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
