John E. Niggles

John E. “Jack” Niggles of Southampton Village died at his home on Thursday, June 10, 2010, at the age of 46.

He was born on May 13, 1964, at Southampton Hospital to James E. and Jeanette (Faunce) Niggles and was a graduate of Southampton High School.

Jack was a groundskeeper for the County of Suffolk at Cedar Point Park in East Hampton and also worked at King Kullen in Bridgehampton.

He is survived by his parents, Jeanette and Kenneth Zeh of Riverhead (formerly of Southampton) and James E. and Carole Niggles of Santa Clarita, Calif.; a brother, James E. Niggles Jr. of Canoga Park, Calif., and his wife, Martha; and a sister, Jeanne Ann Wilkinson of Palm Desert, Calif., and her husband, Raymond; a stepbrother, Brian Zeh of Southampton; and nieces and nephews Kayla and Michelle Wilkinson of Palm Desert and Reyna and Edward Niggles of Canoga Park.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. today, Thursday, June 17, at O’Connell Funeral Home in Southampton by Monsignor Edmond J. Trench. The Rite of Committal will be private.

Memorial donations to the Southampton Fire Department Benevolent Fund, P.O. Box 1465, Southampton, NY 11969 would be appreciated.
