Anne M. Wall
Anne M. Wall of Riverhead died June 8 at her home. She was 63.
She was born Feb. 19, 1947, to Thomas and Margaret (Clark) O’Connell in Flushing, Queens, where she was raised. She graduated from St. Agnes High School in College Point and earned her degree in education at SUNY/New Paltz.
In 1974, she married the Hon. William Wall in Northport. Ms. Wall taught math in the Glen Cove and East Meadow schools before retiring in 2004.
She was a founding member of Island Harvest and a master gardener through the Cornell Cooperative Extension program. According to her family, she also enjoyed quilting.
Ms. Wall is survived by her husband; children, Megan, Kathryn and Liam; and siblings, Thomas O’Connell and Maureen Wiley.
Family received visitors June 11 at McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home in Riverhead. Funeral services were held June 12 at St. Isidore R.C. Church in Riverhead by the Rev. Monsignor Peter Kain. A private cremation followed.
