Riverhead man arrested for violating order of protection

A Riverhead man was arrested for violating an order of protection Sunday, when he showed up at the house of his former girlfriend, Southampton Town Police said.
Celso Dominguez, 29, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt after his former girlfriend notified police that he showed up at her Hampton Bays home shortly after 2 a.m. Sunday, police said. The Suffolk County Family court had previously issued an active order of protection stating Mr. Dominguez had to stay away from his girlfriend, police said.
He was being held for arraignment Monday.
