Ashley McCafferty and Matthew Schmitt

Mr. and Mrs. Steven McCafferty of Jamesport have announced the marriage of their daughter Ashley to Matthew Schmitt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Philip Schmitt of Riverhead.

The wedding took place April 17, 2010, at St. Isidore R.C. Church in Riverhead and was followed by a reception at The Inn at East Wind in Wading River.

Both Matthew and Ashley are 2002 graduates of Riverhead High School. Ashley earned a degree in education from Manhattan College in 2006 and teaches English in the William Floyd School District. Matthew graduated in 2006 from Pace University with a degree in business management and works for his family’s business, Philip A. Schmitt and Sons Farm.

The couple resides in Riverhead.
