A Riverhead couple was arrested this week after the women pulled a knife on the man during a domestic dispute, Riverhead Town Police said.
Delva Renalls, 37, told investigators that Ralph Jones, 44, yelled in her face and then punched her at a Redbird Lane home about 3 p.m. Sunday, authorities said. Ms. Rennalls then chased after Mr. Jones with a knife and threatened to kill him, according to police. Ms. Rennalls was charged with menacing and Mr. Jones was charged with harassment.
* Jackie Hunt, 39, of Riverhead was arrested about 1 p.m. last Thursday for allegedly attacking two women with a metal rake, police said. The two were allegedly struck by Ms. Hunt at an Osprey Avenue home, police said. The women were taken to Peconic Bay Medical Center for treatment of head injuries. Ms. Hunt was charged with second-degree assault.
* Howard Cannon Jr., 47, of Riverhead was arrested at his Oak Avenue home Sunday and charged with third-degree assault. The arrest occurred about 4 a.m. No additional information was available.
* Mike Giunta was arrested by town police at Splish Splash Water Park about 4:30 p.m. Monday and charged with disorderly conduct. No additional information was available.
Those who are named in police reports have not been convicted of any crime or violation. The charges against them may later be reduced or withdrawn, or they may be found innocent.
