Blanche D’Errico
Blanche D’Errico of Calverton died Oct. 24 at Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead. She was 99.
She was born March 15, 1911, to Wicenty and Frances Kozbial in Buffalo, where she was raised.
She and her husband, Louis, lived in Brooklyn for many years before moving to the East End in the 1960s.
Ms. D’Errico was a homemaker who enjoyed radio and television and taking care of her family.
Predeceased by her husband, in 1980, and one grandchild, she is survived by her daughters, Anna Grefe of Calverton and Patricia, of Centereach; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
The family will receive visitors today, Thursday, Oct. 28, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home in Riverhead. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow, Friday, Oct. 29, at St. Isidore R.C. Church in Riverhead. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Coram.
