Police find missing Alzheimer’s patient

Riverhead Police found a missing 73-year-old Alzheimer’s patient while conducting a seat belt check on County Road 105 Tuesday. Gerard Boyrer of Shoreham was reported missing to the Suffolk County Police Department early Tuesday and had been driving for most of the day, according to police. Mr. Boyrer was returned home after he was found.
