Flanders man arrested for making graffiti

An 18-year-old Flanders man was arrested early Saturday morning for spray painting graffiti on the J&H Transfer building on Old Country Road in Riverhead.

Police said Montaigne Henderson was observed tagging the building after they received a phone call from a witness shortly after midnight.

Mr. Henderson was charged with criminal mischief, making graffiti and possession of graffiti instruments.
