Caroline Steiner

Caroline Steiner of Riverhead died Nov. 19 at the age of 84.

She was born April 17, 1926, in New York City to Max and Clara Fishtahl.

She and her late husband, Selig “Sol” Steiner, owned and operated Allied Optical in Riverhead.

Ms. Steiner is survived by her children, Sherry Ann and Jerry, and two grandchildren. In addition to her husband, a third grandchild predeceased her.

Funeral services were conducted Nov. 21 at Alexander-Tuthill Funeral Home in Wading River by Rabbi William Siemers of Temple Israel in Riverhead. Interment followed at Mt. Ararat Cemetery in Farmingdale.
