Marie C. Ineson

Longtime Riverhead resident Marie C. Ineson died April 13 at Southampton Hospital. She was 90.

She was born Dec. 14, 1920, in Brooklyn to Carl and Helmi Johnson and married Charles Ineson in New York City in 1951. She worked as a receptionist at the East End Arts Council in Riverhead.

According to family members, she loved birds and enjoyed gardening.

Predeceased by her husband, Ms. Ineson is survived by her son, Gerald, of Riverhead and her daughter, Cynthia, of Florida. She was also predeceased by her brothers, Robert and Carl Johnson.

Cremation was private. Arrangements were in the care of McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home in Riverhead.
