Police arrested a 48-year-old Flanders man for an open alcohol violation early Saturday in Riverside, officials said.

Gregory Powell was also wanted on an arrest warrant out of Southampton Town Justice Court, police said.

He was transferred to Southampton Town Police headquarters where he was processed and held for a court appearance.

• Jose Galvez, 29, of Center Moriches was arrested early Sunday on Flanders Road in Riverside on DWI charges after police watched him swerving in and out of a lane while talking on his cell phone, Southampton Town Police said.

Mr. Galvez was stopped about 3:15 a.m. near Vail Avenue, where he was found to be intoxicated, police said.

He was charged with misdemeanor driving while intoxicated and violations for prohibited use of a cell phone, driving without a license and unsafely moving from a lane of traffic, police said.

He was being held in Southampton Town Justice Court.

• Fernando Pablo, 39, of Riverside was arrested on a DWAI charge early Sunday on Flanders Road in Riverside, police said..

Police stopped Mr. Pablo’s car because its headlights were off, when they believed him to be intoxicated, according to a release.

He was charged with driving while ability impaired and driving without headlamps after dark, both violations.
