Julieanna S. Overton

Julieanna S. Overton died May 3 at her home in Flanders. She was 47.

She was born in Riverhead May 26, 1963, to Rodney and Margaret Overton. She graduated from Westhampton Beach High School in 1981, and married Kenneth D. Alfano on Nov. 23, 2005.

She was office manager for the dental practice of Dr. Sullivan Gallo in Westhampton Beach. According to family members, she enjoyed auto racing and gardening and loved sunsets and the beach.

Ms. Overton is survived by her husband; her daughter, Kaitlyn Schober of East Quogue; her sons, Rylee DeVoe of Flanders and Christopher Schober of Virginia; her brothers, Roland, of Virginia, and Wayne, of Florida; her sister, Nancy, of Eastport; and her mother. She was predeceased by her father in 1985.

Visiting hours will be held at McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home in Riverhead on Friday, May 6, from 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, May 7, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will take place at the funeral home Monday, May 9, at 11 a.m.
