William M. Stevenson

William M. Stevenson of Riverhead died May 4 at the age of 63.

He was born June 25, 1947, in Baldwin, N.Y., to Catherine (McHugh) and Thomas D. Stevenson. He was a high school graduate and served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1965 to 1971. Mr. Stevenson was a self-employed mechanic.

He is survived by his brother, Thomas, of Oklahoma, and his sisters, Catherine Timmes of Massapequa Park, Mary Lee Payton of Georgia and Helen Larson of South Carolina.

Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, May 10, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Reginald H. Tuthill Funeral Home in Riverhead, where a service will take place at 10:15 a.m. on Wednesday, May 11. Interment will follow at Riverhead Cemetery.
