Local districts file projected school admin salaries

How much are local school administrators expected to be paid in the 2011-12 school year?

That information is required to be sent from almost all school districts at this time each year to the New York State Education Department, which then posts the data on its website.

Only administrative salaries more than $120,000 must be reported. Districts are required only to list the position, and not the name of the person holding that position. The information is self-reported and un-audited, according to the state.

The first column shows salaries, the second lists the monetary value of fringe benefits and the last column is the monetary value of other forms of compensation, such as use of a district car, housing allowances or other items.

* The Shoreham-Wading River district is in the process of hiring a new superintendent.
