For 35 years, Hellenic Snack Bar and Restaurant has provided homemade Greek and American cuisine to the North Fork. A favorite stop for both locals and tourists, the Hellenic provides a vast array of choices for patrons of any age, at very friendly prices.

Whether you’re on your way to catch a ferry or just looking for something new, the Hellenic offers a wide variety of daily specials in addition to its regular, expansive, family-friendly menu.

There are custom omelets available for breakfast, as well as their popular babka French toast, along with fine leaf teas, espresso or a regular cup of coffee or juice. For lunch and dinner there is something for every taste, including several appetizers and salads to start the meal, and entrees ranging from burgers and sandwiches, chicken fingers or grilled cheese, to Greek specialties such as gyros, souvlaki, moussaka or yigantes plaki.

Daily specials feature fresh local seafood, such as whole broiled fluke, meat dishes including platinum beef tenderloin, or a simple and satisfying plate of shrimp, spinach and orzo.  Sweet treats such as Greek baklava make a delectable finish. Many people just stop in for a refreshing glass of their famous fresh-squeezed, made-to-order lemonade.

The Hellenic offers catering in its enclosed, heated glass pavilion, and strives to deliver excellence in food, service, presentation and cleanliness.
