1) When did you get the car?
I got the car about eight years ago at a swap meet in Pennsylvania.

2) What shape was it in?
It was kind of plain Jane. I put the flames on and new wheel rims and tires. Also the pin stripping on the dash board.

3) What was the biggest challenge in restoring it, and did you do the work yourself?
It was hard to design the flames with masking tape to lay them out to get them to look right. I worked with Rich at Rich’s Quality Auto in Cutchogue. We worked on it together.

4) What’s your favorite thing/feature on the car?
The looks that you get and the people who come to talk to you about it. You can’t find a car like this anymore.

5) What was the first car you owned, make and model?
It was a 1967 Ford Pickup- a F-150 Royal Blue that I suped up. I bought it in 1977 and owned it for 3 or 4 years.
