Achievements

• Paul Fallot of Riverhead has been named to the dean’s list at SUNY/Geneseo for the spring 2011 semester.

• Tara Stoever of Riverhead has made the spring 2011 President’s List at SUNY/Oswego, where she is a senior majoring in childhood and adolescent education.

• Cameron Waldman, a native of Laurel, has graduated summa cum laude from SUNY/Albany with a Bachelor of Arts degree. in philosophy. He was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa in 2010 and won the 2011 most outstanding senior award. The son of Howard Waldman of Riverhead and Sharon Waldman of Nevada, Cameron has accepted a position at The Hastings Center, a bioethics research institute in Garrison, N.Y.

• U.S. Army Pfc. Christopher Byer, son of Carol and Charles Byer of Calverton, has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Sill in Oklahoma. Pfc. Byer is a 2004 graduate of Riverhead High School.

• Rebecca Trojanowski of Riverhead has earned a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Massachusetts.

• Nikole Stevens of Riverhead has graduated magna cum laude from Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pa. A member of Phi Beta Kappa, she also earned four honors awards and the William Dr. Boger Jr. Award for outstanding student in medical science. Nikole will attend medical school at Marshall University in the fall.

• Air National Guard Airman 1st Class William McCauley II, son of William and Deirdre McCauley of Manorville, has completed eight weeks of intensive basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in Texas. Airman McCauley graduated from Shoreham-Wading River High School in 2004 and earned an associate degree from Suffolk County Community College in 2007.
